Discover a program of over 30 free sessions on Sustainable Home Day (09/20/2020) that offer practical advice and guidance on a range of topics related to sustainable home design.
Founded in 2001, Sustainable House Day is a national event where the public can see and learn from the best green houses in Australia. It aims to inspire people to live sustainably and show them how to reduce their energy bills, live comfortably and help the environment through good home design, good practices and technology.
In light of COVID-19, this year’s event is completely virtual. The participating houses have created video tours and questions about their houses can be asked on the Sustainable House Day website. Selected homeowners also take part in information events that take place throughout the day and are accessible to everyone via Zoom. Hosted by sustainability experts, designers and architects, these sessions are a valuable opportunity for attendees to seek advice from those who have already completed their home. The program for these sessions can be found on the Sustainable House Day website: SustainableHouseday.com/program
Registrations are required on the Sustainable House Day website to view house tours and attend the day’s sessions. Register at sustainable day.
