The MAC product that I never really understood? MAC C-Thru Lipglass (£ 12), almost every person I know loves this milky-almost see-through nude shade, and yet I’ve never been more in love than anyone else. I put it in my online shopping cart several times to overcome the final hurdle until I found it in miniature form. Now that I’ve tried it, I’ll admit it’s pretty enough, but I’m still not completely in love and doubt I’ll reach for it often. That’s the beauty of the mini sizes. It is much easier to consume them (especially the items you haven’t fully sold) to avoid product debt.
And now we return to the admired and gathered MAC mini lipsticks (£ 10). I’ve wanted to try the MAC Please Me lipstick shade for a long time, but since I’m so moody – and honestly need another pink lipstick like a hole in my head – I decided a mini was the only way. Given the recent price hike on MAC lipsticks (£ 17.50 each), this might be the way to go. I’m happy to say that (geddit?) MAC please me is a lovely, dusty shade of rose that works wonderfully both as a lipstick and as a cream blush.
There are many MAC products that have received the mini make-over treatment. Unfortunately, foundation and cheek products have yet to be put on such a list, but we hope they join the ranks one day.
