[affiliate] I’m not through my animal print stage just yet – my friend Sass had a leopard print jacket that she wore over a floral dress when we met to drink about a year ago, and I’ve never forgotten how amazing it looked. But I’m not happy with structured jackets because I like movement and comfort. I’m not a big fan of cardigans either, so the trend towards soft, structured jackets made from a kind of sweatshirt material stuck me down to the bottom.
I can think of about a thousand ways to wear these – with jeans and a white t-shirt, black skinnies with the same t-shirt, over a black dress, over a floral dress for a complete color collision combo with a long black pleated skirt, with a short denim skirt, over a jump suit, a cream-colored shirt – I mean … for something so individual there are many ways to wear it. Personally, I would always roll up my sleeves up to the middle of the forearm. The feedback on this is that it fits a little larger – if you plan to wear over sweaters in winter (hello, cream, red or black polo neck), choose your normal size, otherwise check the size chart carefully. It is made of soft jersey with a lot of stretch (but without a lining) and can simply be thrown in the washing machine. I bet it’s sold out – actually I think it’s a rogue early fall drop – the main fall collection hasn’t been out for a few days, but this one made its way onto the website. Find it HERE for £ 35 in sizes 6 through 24.
