First Lady, Aisha Buhari, thanked God for the success of her daughter’s wedding in a private ceremony at the presidential villa in Abuja.
The president’s wife visited her verified Instagram page @aishambuhari to express her gratitude to God when her daughter Hanan married Turad Sha’aban on Friday.
She posted some photos of the couple and wrote, “#HamadForever. Alhamdulilahi. “
The embassy drew numerous messages of goodwill to the President’s couple and family.
In a video she showed dignitaries, including Governors Mai Buni of Yobe and Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, the Oni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunnusi, some Cabinet Ministers and others, along with the Head Imam of the State House, who presided over the wedding at the ceremony we held On the forecourt of the State House, Ms. Buhari also thanked those who had made it on the occasion.
She wrote, “Today is a great and happy day for my family as we witnessed my daughter Aisha Hanan Buhari’s wedding to Mohammed Turad Sani Sha’aban.
“I am overwhelmed by the goodwill and support from family, friends and well-wishers. Let me take this opportunity to thank everyone who honored the occasion with their presence and those who could not, for understanding that at this time of the global pandemic and the need to strictly follow our advice Health officials required a limited gathering to hold. “We appreciate your prayers for the blessed union for the couple as they begin their conjugal life.”
Hanan has a degree in photography from Ravensbourne University in England while the groom Turad is special advisor to the Minister of Labor and Housing, Babatunde Fashola.
He is the son of a former lawmaker, Mahmud Sani Sha’aban, who represented Zaria in the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007.
Hanan is the second daughter of President Buhari, who has been married since taking office in 2015.
In December 2016, Zahra married Ahmed Indimi, the son of oil billionaire Alhaji Muhammadu Indimi, at an elaborate ceremony.
