Even if we believe we can resist the lures of marketing, the sad truth is we can’t. In one way or another, marketing always manages to influence our decisions. The only way to prevent such a scenario is simple, but practically impossible these days. We should avoid any kind of marketing. In short, we should live in a cave and almost completely avoid technology.
To give you an idea of the power of marketing, keep in mind that we put the same type of wine in two different bottles – one with an anodic and cheap label and perhaps a plastic stopper, the other with a classy label and a sealed stopper real cork – most people, laypeople and experts, rate the wine in the premium bottle as the best.
