I enjoy reading and learning about Buddhism and also the Chinese art of fortune telling such as Bazi (8 characters per hour, day, month and year, trunk and branches) and Zi Wei Dou Shu. Sometimes I analyze diagrams of myself Acquaintance and it correlate with their characters.
What can you do when you realize that your destiny is not so good? What is the Buddhist View on Divination? What can we do if we are born with a less than rosy chart?
There is a saying that our Bazi natal chart reveals our past karma. However, we can do something and improve our lives and are not tied to the table. In the video below which is based on the Ming Dynasty Liao fan Real’s story of changing his destiny by doing more good deeds and improving his life shows that we don’t need to be bound by our destiny map, but we have free will to improve our destinies and it takes effort.
Venerable Master Sheng Yen said that the most important thing is the mind. We humans are related to our spirit. When you transform your mind, your wealth will also change. If someone’s mind doesn’t change, their fate is basically set. When the concept of mind changes, the person’s principles and direction in life change, and so does that person’s future.
