So it’s a bright sunny morning you plan to go to the beach and the smart one you want to make sure you are all prepared. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

We have made a checklist of things that can be brought to the beach especially for you.

  • Choose the perfect beach towel

Beach towel is the most important and most neglected accessory when you go to the beach. If you are able to find a perfect beach towel for you, 70% of your beach day is already sorted. At Tesalate I found the perfect beach towel that is just the right size, but still light, super absorbent, quick drying and completely sand-free. You can buy this online at Tea salads. • Choose the most appropriate sunscreen and wear sunglasses

You don’t want to come back with sunburn or irritated skin, so choosing the best sunscreen becomes an indispensable task. Make sure it suits your skin type and has a high sun protection factor so you stay protected. To make your body sand-free, rub some talcum powder all over your body to dry out the grains of sand that they let fall off.

Staying sand-free is the number one concern when you are on the beach. Be it your belongings, your body, your food or accessories, make sure you leave every grain where it belongs. To make sure you get home sand-free, keep your belongings in a mesh laundry bag so that the grains of sand drain off as you leave the beach.

  • Stay hydrated and bear fruit

Stay hydrated on the beach to make sure your body doesn’t get sick. Drink plenty of cool and fresh water. Stay away from alcohol and beverages containing caffeine, as these tend to draw water out of your body. You can eat fruits and vegetables with high water content such as watermelon, grapefruit, oranges, strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers.

Don’t let your beach experience turn out to be a bad one and keep your devices in the resealable plastic bags to protect them from moisture and sand. Put your device in a bag and use a straw to suck out the air for safety.

  • Make sure your phone is charged / carries power bank

You will likely be there all day. Who wants to come back from a beach? Make sure your phone has enough charge for the whole day, or carry a power bank.

If you plan to spend a little time, or likely to take a quick nap, or simply read a book or listen to music, headphones will help cut out unwanted noise in case it is too crowded.

Now you can go to the beach. Do you think we missed something? Let us know in the comments and we’ll add the same thing.

Have fun at the beach! Keep traveling and stay safe!
