This beautiful property was in need of a landscape renovation that restored the site to an updated version worthy of its original stunning architecture. Decades of different owners, each of whom had abandoned their view of the landscape, had fallen into disrepair. We were able to remove a lot of distractions and give the property a subtle, Asian-inspired artisan feel. We enlarge the driveway without losing the feeling of arrival. We added pathways and a collection of plants that unified the space while creating a sense of intimacy for the large property. Now the landscape envelops the house with a sense of place and history without distracting from the incredible views of downtown and Coronado.
