The Prismatic Circle Granny Square is a fresh take on the classic grandma square! This motif is an absolute must! Read below to learn how to make this square your own!
Hello and welcome back to my blog!
A few years ago I published my Circle To Square Granny Square Pattern and it has been a reader favorite ever since! You can read more about it here, here and here. I wanted to do a revised version of this pattern and here is what I came up with … the Prismatic Circle Granny Square motif!
The Prismatic Circle Granny Square is a variation on the Circle-to-Square pattern, in which the colors are simply changed at the end of each round. Also, a new twist is added for the 6th round and a 7th round is added. And … adding the 7th round makes a slightly bigger square!
A perfect stash buster!
This project is a great stash buster to use up small balls of yarn from different projects. You will see below that I am using a couple of different brands of yarn for this project, and that’s why – this is a big stash buster for me!
I love the look of these squares and I think they would be beautifully sewn together as a baby blanket, wrap, or afghan for the couch! Just like a classic granny square, the possibilities for these little suckers are really endless!
