The strangest thing for me in mine quarantine was my calmer than normal, mental state. Especially when you look at the events that led to it (Read my last 2 blogs). As someone who has been diagnosed depressionI really haven’t seen any in these 2 weeks. There were some harder moments. But we all have them. I strongly recommend everyone try this isolation level. No people, no family, no partner and no children. I also recommend 2 days Not 2 weeks.
Three things that helped me stay busy physically and mentally were my morning going running, DDPY and some funny posts on it Instagram. The room was almost 10 m long, so a good walk was a lot with it U-turn. In fact, it was somewhere between 11 and 12 laps that were the same 100m. Yes, I had time to think, a lot of time. Every morning I got up, had Brekky, set the exercise app and started walking. To go further and faster every day was the goal and overall I achieved this. Except Day 6 where i had a FaceTime conversation with Leia when we both left. Too busy talking to bother, but it was the most pleasant walk of all. Day 13 I have to run / run outside. That meant a lot less U-turn This made it easier to keep up the speed until more people entered the small outdoor area that we were allowed to use. So a lot of weaving and dodging added.
Usually I would wait about half an hour, sometimes more and then one DDPY Training or 2. With the DDPY Now app You earn points with your training. When you hit 100,000 points You can get one free t-shirt. I had that Motivational picture on my computer screen to remind me of mine goal.
During the 1 week in the Victoria and 2 weeks in the quarantine I have to admit the food did not exactly fit in with the eating goals or plans. An area where I was pretty easy going anyway. I also mentioned the increase in beer Admission. So I wasn’t surprised that I got dressed in those 3 weeks 2.3 kg (5 pounds). But I was surprised that I had lost 1 cm (0.4 inch) from my waist and lost 1.2% body fat. I assumed I had built some muscle with that DDPY jacked up Workouts. I was so happy with the way I was feeling that for a brief moment I even considered quitting my job so I could maintain this level of training. Then I remembered that if you can’t afford to buy food, you can’t maintain that level of exercise, hahaha.
On the July 18th I was finally home again. Started eating better and cut off some exercise. I lost some of that weight again, but didn’t get back to the end June Weight. But I’ve lost more of my waistline.
My Weight on August 1st is 87.5 kg (192.9 pounds). That is a gain from 0.7 kg (1.5 pounds) in the July and a total loss of 6.8 kg since i started
My waist is up now 92.5 cm (36.4 in). That is a loss of 2.5 cm (1 inch) in the July and a total loss of 14.5 cm (5.7 in) since i started
As for Close the rings on my Apple Watch. In the first 18 days of July I have averaged more than 5,300 kilojoules (1267 calories) a day. Far above mine Move the ring Target of 3,000 kilojoules (717 calories). I missed the mark 5 times a month. I have averaged 4363 kilojoules (1043 calories) all in all. Well done last month. At least the new target for the day August is 3,100 kilojoules (741 calories).
