Halloween Crochet Face Masks – Repeat Crafter Me Knitting

It is a spectacular project! These crochet face masks are spiced up with Halloween designs and are perfect as a costume or as a festive way to celebrate the holidays and the month of October. You will find the Crochet mask patterns on and it is designed with a fabric cover. BUT I have a few other thoughts…. You can wear this (like a costume) over a disposable mask or other face covering. You don’t have to use these for yourself either. How about a pumpkin for a Halloween mood in 2020? Or how about a stuffed animal or a doll (LIKE I DID HERE)?! Lots of ways to use these cute Halloween masks!

As I mentioned earlier, you can find the Free CROCHET FACE MASK PATTERN HERE on! This pattern has been trending for months!

I used Red Heart Super Saver Yarn and a size G crochet hook. So grab your orange, white, purple and green yarn and crochet this BASIC MASK PATTERN.

Then I went ahead and sewed decorations and faces with strands of thread and my tapestry needle. The trick is to create the outline of the shape you want (like a triangle or the lantern mouth) and then fill it in once you’ve created the outline.

For the skeleton, the eyes are only crocheted in simple rounds:
Magic ring, make chain 1 and 10 SC in the ring, connect, chain 1
Round 2: 2 SC first, SC next, repeat, join, fasten

For Frankenstein’s eyes:
Make magic ring, chain 1 and 12 SC in the ring, connect, fasten
Stitch on black pupils.

For the cat ears:
Chain 5, SC in the second chain from the hook, HDC in the next, DC in the last two.

I sewed on the rest of the decorations by hand! So have fun with it and create even more characters! How about a witch ?! Or a ghost ?! Lots of ways to make a face mask funnier.
