Apparently, I’m not the only one keeping an eye on huts these days. loved this piece about the charm of the cottages and the rural escapethat has a long history.
In Tuscany and Florence, restaurants and bars in very old buildings have wine windows – and are starting to use them again! Love this, so charming. I think some old houses have something like this because when milk delivery was a thing!

This is a great dinner idea when you feel like you don’t have any dinner ideas! A can of black beans, some frozen (or fresh!) Corn, a can of diced tomatoes, some salasa, ground turkey, grated cheese, and some spice make this delicious dinner extra special in no time. It goes well with crispy tacos or in lettuc wraps. You can also try warm flat bread! I love when dinner feels like a snack doesn’t it? Pinterest link is here and You can find the full recipe here.
It’s peach season! Also necarine season if you prefer! And these peach cake bars would be a wonderful summer dessert to celebrate the short (too short!) Window of this delicious summer fruit. These peach cake bars are addicting and make a lovely weekend baking project. Pinterest link is here, and You can find the full recipe here.
If you’re looking for a quick summer crafting idea, these gorgeous wrapped cuff bracelets are perfect. It’s really easy – choose a lot of embroidery floss (from your supply or at the craft store) that matches your outfits, mood, desires, etc., and let it wrap you up! Don’t worry if you can’t find a cuff-style bracelet to use as a base. This works with all types of bracelets that you may have gotten from H&M or similar locations over the years. Take a look at your unused costume jewelry and see if some things might not benefit from packaging. Pinterest link is here, and The complete DIY is here.
If there’s a summer sewing project coming up in the near future, this is a great free tutorial on how to turn a man’s shirt into a tank top – a great idea for a frugal climb up. And isn’t it just so pretty? The straps are made from the seams of the original shirt! Pinterest link is here, and The free pattern and tutorial is over here.
I’ve been spending sooo much time in people’s backyards this summer, long-distance social calling! A great idea to make those backyard slopes even more amazing and memorable would be an outdoor movie night! This is a great post full of fun ideas on how to make an outdoor movie night magical and easy. Pinterest link is here, and The full post full of great tips on how to do it is here.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Let’s make the most of summer while we still have it, right?
