Once you have a solid list of related keywords, you can export the results to an Excel spreadsheet for filtering, searching, and searching thousands of suggestions.
3. Make sure your website is 100% mobile responsive
Google switched to a mobile-first indexing strategy back in July 2019.
If your website isn’t mobile-centric, all search engine optimization for content marketers around the world won’t help you earn rank in search results.
Every page on your website must be 100% optimized for mobile browsers. This includes:
- Use high resolution images
- Make sure readers don’t have to scroll right to see all of the content
- Hyperlinks large enough to type without accidentally tapping anything else
4. Meta Matters
Your metadata tells both Google bots and potential visitors what your post is about. Make sure you tweak
- Meta title
- Meta description
- Slug (the url)
- WordPress tags
- Image ALT text
Google’s bots search the metadata to decide how to rank your page. In the meantime, visitors will see some of this information in search results, including image search results.
5. Add the related questions and suggestions from Google
SEO for content marketers works best when it comes straight out of the horse’s mouth.
Just put your keyword in Google and scroll down to check out related searches for additional semantic keywords like “Weightlifting Exercises”, “Weightlifting Workouts”, and “Weightlifting Equipment”.
