WAEC: Abia government announces student resumption date : Nigerian Education

The government of the state of Abia has provisionally set August 10, 2020 for the reopening of schools so that students in drop-out classes can prepare and write relevant exams.

The decision to reopen graduate schools was made after a stakeholder meeting held by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on Thursday at the Government House Umuahia’s Michael Okpara Auditorium.

According to the governor, the planned reopening is subject to verifiable compliance with all proposed COVID 19 prevention and control measures agreed at the summit.

DAILY POST recalls that this happens after the federal government has approved the reopening of secondary schools across the country.
