I spent almost a whole week there and had a good time. Despite the fact that there are not so many things to do and see on Koh Yao Noi, I still had fun.
At first, I thought getting there would be complicated, but nothing could be further from the truth. I organized my transport without any problems.
How do I get to Koh Yao Noi?
You have several options. It is best to fly from Chiang Mai or Bangkok to Phuket or Krabi.
- Boats leave from Phuket to Bangrong Pier every hour and cost around 200 baht. Click here to book your ticket.

What have I done?
I started my journey from Krabi. I got there directly from Chiang Mai with AirAsia.
From there you can take a grab taxi for 560-580 baht. I decided to take one from the airport terminal. It cost me 650 baht, but you can trade and get one for 600.
The taxi will take you to the pier where you have to pay 10 Baht entry. Next you can get a boat for 300 baht or a slower one for 200 baht.
When you arrive in Koh Yao Noi you have to pay another 10 Baht entry.
The taxi to the hotel costs about 100 baht per person.
