Care against pretending to care – Steve Pavlina :Personal Development

One is a mushy, emotional, warm hug with a bright smile.

The other is a grayscale photocopy of a hug photo.

Visually, both are easily identified as hugs. Experience has shown that they are very different, and if they are given, they end up very differently with the recipient.

Pretending to take care of something can still make a contribution, albeit without dimensionality. Some people may half appreciate the gesture and may see it as better than nothing. You can get a few pats on the back, each with a scary hollow echo.

These are your options for whatever you offer internally.

What are you offering today?

Is this going to be a day that you deal with what really enlightens you inside? Or another day in grayscale?
