MachineBuilding.net announces new ownership : MARKETING

MachineBuilding.net has announced a new owner as the online flagship website was recently sold to The Engineering Network Ltd. was sold.

The website was launched in 2007 by engineer Jonathan Severn and his business partner Geoof Lock and has established itself as the industry leading website for thousands of machine builders across the UK. The corresponding monthly newsletter is sent to more than 4,000 registered machines.

In the future, the platform will be managed by a new publisher and publisher, Mark Newby, an engineer with nearly four decades of technical press experience.

Jon Severn commented on the sale as follows: “I am very happy that MachineBuilding.net is in such good hands. The new owners know the publishing industry inside out and, above all, also understand the mechanical engineering market. There is no doubt that MachineBuilding.net, with Mark Newby at the top, has a great future ahead of it. “

“The MachineBuilding.net platform has been respected by the engineering community and those who deliver it from the day it was launched,” added Mark Newby. “When I had a leading technical event, the FAST exhibition, machinebuilding.net was the biggest producer of quality visitors year after year. Few would argue that Machinebuilding.net has a first-class reputation among viewers and those who sell to them. Jon and I have known each other for a long time and it is a privilege to continue and expand the excellent work that he and Geoff have started. “

We look forward to the direction Mark will take with the website and wish Jonathan and Mark all the best for their new endeavors.
