It wasn’t until I had to try it out LG Gramm 17 “Ultralight laptop with Intel® Core ™ i7 Intel® Iris® Plus graphics in all this physical distance that I realized how bad I need a new computer.
I’ve been a pretty strong Mac user for the past decade, looking for a computer that lasts much longer than the PCs in front of them. The LG Gramm Ultra-Light Laptop | Let’s talk about light!
Weighing 2.98 pounds 17 “LG grams is light. Surprisingly Light. I’ve had 17-inch laptops before and they never felt like it This.
It’s a shame that I had to test it while physically distancing myself – it would be a welcome addition to my daily routine, since all the functions of a full-fledged laptop add little more than the weight of a tablet to my bag.
But although its lightweight construction is one of its selling points, I had to put it to the test even more.
As a content creator, I push my devices to their limits and use every iota of their processing power to do everything from editing videos to executing code to create elaborate maps and diagrams.
When I got my hands on it LG gramsI assumed it would work light slower than my MacBook Pro – 16GB of DDR4 RAM on a 1.3GHz quad-core processor compared to 16GB of DDR3 RAM on a 2.8GHz quad-core processor (top notch than me bought the MacBook Pro) in late 2014). But since I’ve been away from PCs for so long, I wanted to see how much it can do if I keep throwing things at it.
And so I installed Chrome. steam. QGIS, Slack and the Candy Crush Saga. Any freeware I thought I had chance the use made its way to the gram, and I urged to see how it would work if I did checked it.
And you know what? It wasn’t too shabby! I used the gram to host virtual game nights with Discord and steam;; Use QGIS to create maps of Toronto, Ontario, and Canada. and countless Chatting via Google Meet and Zoom … although the 720p camera is admittedly a bit grainy than I would like it to be.
