So, I love Mexican food. And a book name like Holy guacamole had tried me from the start! I had no idea that there was so much evidence of Mexican food that I would be hungry to read more.
Do you ever feel less important than that you are worth nothing or you have no idea why you are where you are in life? I think we all feel that way sometimes. In her new book Holy Guacamole, the author Carrie Stephens writes her own sayings and experiences so that we can see that we are here for a reason. And that God knows exactly what He is doing.
Mrs. Stephens does a great job of keeping the sense of humor while writing about some very intense and serious topics. Her life stories are understandable and make reading this book easy and interesting. It was hard for me to put the book away, although it was very late when I started! This quote from the book sums it up pretty well.
God longs to show you how you are His beautiful, tasteful, and colorful creation. Let him show you how you are holy guacamole – his masterpiece, his characteristic offer for a world that needs his love.
