Apollo bar & canteen
The Apollo Bar is located in one of the most picturesque areas, just a stone’s throw from the lively Nyhavn. It is the ideal place to enjoy your breakfast outdoors, your morning coffee, your lunch with friends or a deliciously healthy dinner.
Apollo nestles into the historical Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Here you will find interesting art installations and exhibitions, so you could call it an updated version of a museum café. The owner (who is also a chef), Frederik Bille Brahe, created this room in 2007 so that people can stop by and chat with each other all day. Every Friday evening there is a DJ behind the counter.

Kyros & Co.
If you long for a craft cocktail, you’ve come to the right place! Kyros & Co. is an ode to quality, good company, art and craftsmanship, and the bar has already won many hearts! Called the so-called “speak easy bar” (you know, one of those places that are deliberately hard to find!), It’s an experience to just get in! When the two lamps on each side of the main door are lit, the space is open. As soon as you sit comfortably inside, the show can begin. And when you’re done here, get into a kayak and explore Copenhagen from the water! What’s on the menu? Sicilian beer, wine, coffee and a modest selection of snacks / light dishes.

Another relaxed café / restaurant right on the water is the Kayak Bar. The place is popular for its delicious food and its cozy summer atmosphere and takes its name from the kayaks (you guessed it!) That guests can rent hourly or daily. After enjoying a drink here, you can even go kayaking.

Sandkaj Havnebad, Nordhavn
A brand new neighborhood with lots of sunlight and ocean breezes; you have to love Nordhavn! The ambience here is both international and very Copenhagenish with its bright, beautiful apartments, coffee bars and green spaces. A few years ago this area was not open to the public, but today it is full of life. My favorite part about this place is the fact that you have a constant view of the sea.
