We are a big office and we process different applications every day. Almost every day we receive information from the Canadian Department of Immigration about the results of our cases. We have a 98% success rate, so most of this news is positive.
Today we want to share with you the news on two recent cases as each of them is uniquely important and we are going to tell you why.
The first of these cases, an application for permanent residency in Canada on humanitarian and compassionate grounds, was approved in late June. Why is it special?
This was a very difficult, unusual case.
The people involved were quite young and there were two of them and both were approved.
We have put together an extensive file that makes it clear and convincing that our customers deserve compassion and mercy, and Immigration Canada agreed with our reasoning.
We are overwhelmed by the joy of our customers and proud to have achieved the result we had hoped for. Now a family of two is reunited with their relative in Canada and they can be together and enjoy each other’s company in peace and happiness.
The collective effort of our staff, led by visionary Jane Katkova, who developed a strong and compelling strategy, complemented by solid research, resulted in today’s victory.
H&C cases are very discretionary and the average approval rate is low. We pride ourselves on winning 100% of our H&C cases because we work hard, think hard, and invest 100% of our energy, time, and dedication to create the best possible case.
As a reminder, anyone is eligible to apply for permanent residence in Canada on humanitarian and compassionate grounds if the case is substantiated and legal review passes.
Another case that was approved in early July 2020 was a TRV case, an application for a temporary stay visa.
This application was submitted abroad to a visa office in Ankara, Turkey. We recently received a passport request and forwarded it to the satisfied customer.
While most people still can’t travel to Canada, our customer was fortunate to have an immediate family member in Canada (a Canadian citizen). This means that he can soon be part of his family as there are no travel restrictions on him!
Most of all, this is evidence that overseas visa missions process TRV applications and continue to be approved. Yes, waiting times are longer due to COVID-19, but everyone will get there!
Canada has always been an immigrant friendly country and is still doing everything possible to meet the needs of visitors, workers and students looking to make Canada their temporary or permanent home.
Let’s stay positive and trust the words of the Immigration Minister, who said on July 1st, 2020: “This is the success story of immigration in Canada. We actively seek to bring together the best and brightest from around the world to fuel our economy. Today, the highly skilled professionals who choose Canada as their place to live and work are helping Canadian businesses grow, enter new markets and create more jobs for Canadians. “
