Routines are a very influential part of our lives. Habits are often confused as insignificant and define who we are.
The truth about habits
People tend to have addictions. We love the feeling of knowing something. This coziness and the comfort of doing things every day. These are called habits and believe or not, they define who we are.
They are sometimes small, easy to make, quick, but they take up a large part of our time in our lives. Basically, our time is mainly determined by habits. We rarely do anything outside of our routines. Maybe we go on vacation twice a year and see something new. But mostly it’s the same things that repeat themselves every day.
Why do I say habits define us? It’s very easy. If you think of a cake recipe that contains 90% sugar, you can eat it? Definitely not. The majority influence the result. The same applies to our life.
What we do every day affects us, not what we do once a month, twice a year or what resolution we have every New Year’s Eve. NO. What we do every day, our habits, our rituals, that’s what defines us.
The same applies to motivation and optimism. You can often do it and expect your life to change. Do you feel me You have to practice it every day. What you want, what you need, what you want.

Replace bad habits with good habits
We cannot completely get rid of habits. As I said, we’re addicted to addiction if I can put it that way. We need habits, but we need good ones. So how can you get rid of bad habits? A very simple and useful way that I found is to replace bad habits with good habits.
Sounds easy, but it’s more difficult to implement, right? Maybe not so maybe. Let’s take a simple example. I like music. Like any other topic, there is music in various forms and emotions.
I used to listen to negative music, and by negative I mean bad news, a bad example of behavior. I heard rap music, believe it or not. At this point in my life, I had a lot of bad things around me because of me. After changing the way I see life and realizing that I control my fate, I started listening to joyful and joyful music with a good example of behavior and language. I knew that listening to this music was bad, but I didn’t stop listening to music entirely.
Give me a classic, a dance song or something happy and I get my happy mood immediately. Don’t get me wrong now, I have nothing against the hip hop industry that I have followed for years. It’s just that I don’t see most of the behaviors that apply to my life now. I care about love, help and motivate people, and this emotional frequency calls for positive music.
This is only an example. We have many habits and routines in our lives. I’m just trying to point out that any bad habit can be replaced by a good one. I’ll give you another example. I smoked a lot of cigarettes, drank alcohol and ate fast food (yes, I was a mess). That was my habit. When I realized that my life needed a change and quickly, I switched to smoking with exercise, drank alcohol with green tea and ate fast food with healthy food. I know that cigarettes for training are a total change, but not smoking anything that can benefit your health or your success.

Learn from other habits of successful people.

Such a nice quote and powerful at the same time. When you think of successful people, you may think of happiness or a series of privileges that paved the way for them, but in fact it is their habits that make them stand out. We have already found that if you want to change your life, change your habits.
But based on bankruptcy, fat and unsuccessful, we sometimes don’t know exactly what to do (were there, did that). Even if we are successful, we may face a lack of ideas and therefore a lack of progress. We have reached a so-called plateau.
This is the way to do it: study other habits of successful people and do them. You will get the same results as these people. Is it easy Well I’m not saying that you have to be an imitator and just mirror everyone, but we all need some role models. These role models can be real people or our concept of the role model. We follow these models, study them, admire them and finally apply the same things that they do, but with our personal touch.
As an action plan:
Take a piece of paper and a pen and write down any habits you want to remove from your life. What it wastes your time and energy, but does nothing useful or useful. Number them.
After you’ve finished this, take another piece of paper and write a replacement for any bad habit. Numbered again until you managed to replace all wrong habits with good ones. Instead of watching TV for an hour, read for an hour. Instead of having a drink, go for a walk. Instead of fries or other strange snacks, you should also buy fruit, almonds or whole grain snacks.
And the list goes on and on. After successfully finding a replacement for any bad habit, start implementing the change today. One habit at a time until you manage to fill your routines with good, productive ones that pave your way to success.
