It is the end of June and there is no pool in sight. But that didn’t stop me from holding an indoor pool party. I’ve had one before, but this time it started inside and ended outside. With so many closed pools, it’s time to get creative, isn’t it?
Splish Splash, it’s a pool party bash! Don’t you love the invitations i made? Simple enough if you only have to do three …
I’ve found so many ways to stay cool. Which was good because it turned out to be the perfect weather for a pool party, Hot & Sunny!
Check out all the “cool” things I did for the party.
Do you remember the indoor pool party from the past? You can check it out HERE.
I used some of the same serving pieces, just different ways to show the goodies. The swim rings hold bowls on a tablecloth with a water motif. Would you like to know what it was?
Since there were only five adults, I didn’t need too many, but of course I had many goodies, because who doesn’t like to take a box full of desserts home with them?
And one of my favorites was the Muddy Buddy Chex Mix. Housed in a beach ball bag, it was easy to take them home.
They were the perfect treat to fill the beach ball bags!
Another favorite is the Rice Krispie Treat, this time topped with a combination of peanut butter and chocolate!
And what fun would it be without the popular pool noodles?
This time they came in the form of a pretzel covered with chocolate.
Maybe if I don’t mention it, you won’t notice the cake pops with the sunglasses?
But I want you to notice the Bing Cherry Pie … sooooo good. The perfect summer treat!
These chocolate and walnut clusters would be different, but I was happy to report that when I met them, I made the right decision.
One thing I didn’t do was the striped liquorice.
The marshmallows were dipped in colorful candy melts and covered with a beach ball pick.
One last look at the desserts, the cupcakes in the middle.
Ready to go to the drinks counter?
Beach balls with our drinks and the sand bucket were filled with ice pops … A pool party would not be complete without them!
The swim rings in the back were not only part of the decor but also part of the game.
Now it’s time to eat.
BBQ potato chips were the centerpiece. Much cheaper than flowers.
Mini beach balls also filled the table.
And I even had beach ball napkins.
The glasses were filled with nothing but water and a wind turbine.
My parties have games and my games have prizes! I took the rings that were on display behind the drinks and played ring throwing.
After a couple of games we got out the water balloons and spray guns and we were all pretty wet. Someone I won’t name has grabbed the tube.
After buying the bags, I added the wooden parasol in the front.
Each bag was filled with a beach towel and sunglasses.
Do you want to have your own pool party?
Attract attention, attract attention!
