USCIS announced the resumption of premium processing for eligible petitions for non-immigrants (Form I-129) and petitions for immigrants for foreigners (Form I-140) from early June 2020. Premium processing has been temporarily suspended.
From June 8, premium processing will resume gradually with H-1B petitions for people without a cap and other I-129 petitions, the decision of which is pending on June 8, 2020. From June 15, 2020, USCIS will expand premium processing to eligible H-1B petitions for organizations that are exempt from the ceiling, such as universities, nonprofit research organizations, and government research organizations. Effective June 22, USCIS intends to resume premium processing for all other I-129 petitions, including the H-1B capped petitions.
This data may change as USCIS continues to receive more premium editing requests.
