The government of Rajasthan has decided to open all monuments, museums and fortresses that were closed to the public on the 18thth March. The State’s Department of Archeology and Museums has issued guidelines that take into account social distance standards and other requirements. The authorities have been instructed to take the necessary steps. In cooperation with tourism departments, folk programs to support artists are also organized. The decision about the opening of monuments that fall into the security zones is made by the individual district administrators and remains closed until further decision.
Entry is free for all tourists in the first two weeks. With light and sound shows, the decision is made later depending on the step. According to the department, the monuments are open on alternating days for the first two weeks.
