The Air Force Institute of Technology, AFIT, Kaduna, has tested the flight of its newly developed Hexacopter.
A hexacopter is a type of remote-controlled aircraft with six propellers. They are arranged in a circle over the main body of the hexacopter.
This body often carries a camera and has two legs in the form of skis. With these skis, the device is stable on landing. The six propellers give this vehicle more maneuverability and flying power than a quadcopter.
The vehicle can fly very smoothly and reach higher heights than a quadcopter. This is because it has more lifting power. If you use an expensive camera to shoot footage with this vehicle, you can be sure that the camera can fly without stability issues.
