In an interview with Dana Weiss, Israeli cult actor Aviv Gefen told an incident that recently happened.
At a recent concert, he announced to the crowd that they should all stop giving Bnei Braq a hard time on the corona problem – it’s not their fault.
Gefen reports that when he got off the stage at the end of his appearance, he turned on his phone and was flooded with 420 messages from Haredim in Bnei Braq, who thanked him and thanked him for his words and supported them. Gefen said he sat down and cried while reading the news.
When Gefen reported the incident, he also burst into tears. Gefen said that like everyone else, he was brought up to hate the Haredim, along with everyone else. Gefen says he has gone through a change and now he sees it and is out of the game.
It is a wonderful story.
The only two questions I have are:
1. How did they all find out what he said in a concert? I don’t think that too many Bnei Braq residents go to concerts in Aviv Gefen.
2. How did they all get his personal number to send him messages? This has happened to others before and I always wonder how people get numbers for these celebrities and members of the Knesset and for whoever.
