The Lagos State Examinations Board has announced the postponement of the 2020 screening test at Lagos State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.
The previously planned tests, which should start from Monday, May 25 to Saturday, May 30, 2020, have therefore been postponed until further notice.
In a Thursday by the Director of Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Supo Gbadegesin, issued press release was the postponement of the examination to the devastating global pandemic (COVID-19) due and the need to contain them in the state.
The Board briefed the general public, particularly all duly registered candidates, on the development and regretted the inconvenience that the move could have caused.
His director said that when the situation improved and approvals were obtained from the relevant authorities, new dates for the testing would be announced.
However, Gbadegesin announced that registration for interested candidates via digital platforms has not yet been completed, and stressed that further inquiries can be made by contacting the board.
