Since our doors remain open, we have stepped up our controls in the private customer business and take all precautions to ensure the safety of our branch visitors and team members. We’d like to share with you the steps we’re taking here.
Health and safety measures in the industry
We have stepped up our cleaning efforts.
We have strengthened our cleaning and disinfection efforts in accordance with the guidelines of the Centers for Control and Prevention of Diseases (CDC) and the guidelines of national, state and local authorities as well as health authorities, including cleaning and disinfection protocols and guidelines for infection prevention.
We take additional precautions in the industry.
We have supplied all branches with hand disinfectants and cleaning agents for customers and employees. We also keep the branches clean throughout the day and clean the work areas before and after serving each customer.
We keep our team up to date.
Training our employees on how to prevent the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 and creating protocols with which we can react effectively to virus-related scenarios.
We are enforcing social distancing.
We have introduced important social distancing protocols and limit the number of branch visitors at the same time in order to create a distance of two meters between each person.
Hours of operation of the branch and possible closure of the branch
We have adjusted our operating hours in our branch network and temporarily closed some of our branches to reduce the risk for our customers and team members. These service adjustments can change regularly and are updated on our website Popular tool for ATMs and branch finders.
These precautions are critical to the safety of all of us. However, We are fully prepared in one of our offices in the event of confirmed potential exposure to COVID-19. We want to share these logs with you here.
Immediate branch closure
We will close the affected branch immediately to perform extensive cleaning and disinfection processes that comply with the CDC guidelines and the guidelines of the national, state and local authorities as well as the health authorities.
Team member notifications
We will notify all potentially exposed team members who are going through a standard 14-day self-quarantine according to the CDC guidelines.
Warnings to customers
We will notify our customers of potential threats from both store signage and our social media channels so that they can take the necessary precautions, including social distance and self-monitoring.
We will reopen the office to our team members and communities as soon as it has been carefully checked and classified as safe.
