A dinner recipe that everyone loves

I love chicken recipes!

I’m sure you could have guessed if you had been on the website before and tried one of the many recipes for chicken food that I have on the blog. We have chicken every week, so I like to change things a bit and keep them interesting. One of our favorites we’ve tried recently is baked chicken parmesan.

Let me tell you – it was so easy and so tasty !! We have actually had it twice since then because my family loved it so much. The best part? It only takes a few minutes to prepare !! I think I can speak for everyone when I say that delicious recipes that require little work are always the best. 😉

Raw chicken breast is breaded in panko

How to make chicken parmesan

As I mentioned earlier, this recipe is very simple and it doesn’t require too many ingredients. It only takes a few steps to make this delicious baked chicken parmesan.

BAKING BREAD. First put the panko, parmesan and salt in a Ziploc bag or flat dish. Dip each chicken breast in melted butter and then in the panko mixture. Make sure the chicken is well covered, place it on a pan and bake for about twenty-five minutes.

TOP & SERVE. Once the chicken is baked, add a little ragu sauce and mozzarella cheese and bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese has melted. Serve it alone or with any type of pasta and you have a delicious meal that everyone loves!

Other rubbers: Once you’ve added the sauce and cheese, you can also add a layer of cooked pieces of bacon, ham. You can also change things by replacing the mozzarella with Provolone.

Note: I bake the chicken uncovered, but I doIf you want to cover it, bake it covered with foil for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes before adding the sauce and cheese.

With an air fryer

You can use an air fryer if you want. However, the air fryer basket is not very big and you need to fry the chicken in batches. Heat your air fryer to 400 degrees F. Spray the basket and place the chicken in a single layer in the basket. Make sure the chicken is not touching.

Fry for 12 minutes or until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Add sauce and cheese and fry for 3-4 minutes longer. Enjoy!

What to do with leftovers?

STORAGE. You can keep leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. To freeze completely cooled chicken parmesan, freeze in an airtight, airtight container for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge before warming up.

REHEATING. To reheat chicken parmesan, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, place the chicken in an ovenproof baking dish, and cover it. Bake for 15-20 minutes, remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes to crisp the coating.

I seriously love how this dish turned out! As I mentioned before, we’ve had this recipe a few times since we first made it. My kids really love spaghetti pasta, so I’ll probably do that for the pasta next time. It’s really the best chicken parmesan recipe!
