The government of the State of Lagos has announced plans to teach SS3 students from home using radio and television media.
This was announced by State Commissioner for Education, Ms. Folasade Adefisayo, who announced that they are taking steps to allow SS3 candidates who are preparing for the Senior Secondary Certificate (WASSCE) exam in West Africa to teach some core subjects about radio and television can.
According to the Commissioner, teachers would pre-record eight subjects for radio, television and online broadcasting. The core subjects are: English language, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, literature in English, financial accounting and economics.
Recall that the state government asked both public and private schools to start a duty because of the worldwide outbreak of influenza from March 23.
Folashade, who had advised public and private schools to keep schools closed in the state, added.
