Coronavirus: UNILORIN examines four international students : Nigerian Education

To control the spread of the coronavirus, the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) examined four returning international students.

The Chairman of the Unilorin Coronavirus Prevention Committee, Dr. Idayat Adurotoye announced this in Ilorin on Thursday March 19, 2020.

Adurotoye said that three of the students were Ghanaians while one was a Chadian.

“This is part of the university’s proactive measures to ensure that international students are free of the virus,” she said.

“Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, the committee has set up a preventive mechanism to ensure that no incident is recorded,” she added.

Adurotoye said the committee had also made arrangements to distribute hand sanitizers and other prevention kits throughout the facility.

She asked the members of the university community to ensure a high level of environmental hygiene.
