2020 UTME: JAMB clarifies the cancellation of the result : Nigerian Education

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has refuted claims that the results of its 2020 UTME were canceled on Saturday, March 14 and Monday, March 16.

We remind that the board released results of 312,000 candidates on Monday who took the exam on Saturday.

However, candidates who could not review yesterday and those who wrote yesterday could not access their results.

Dr. Fabian Benjamin responded to viral reports about the deletion of results, leaders, media and information in an interview with the Nigeria News Agency (NAN) on Wednesday, saying that such rumors are the work of fraudsters and should be ignored.

He described the rumor as evil, malignant, and misleading.

JAMB would like to reassure all candidates who wrote this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that they have not canceled any of their exams or results.

“All results published so far are intact and therefore there is no panic,” he added.
