The minimum CRS value for Canada’s New Express Entry Draw rises to 471 Canada Immigration

On March 4, 2020, Immigration Canada issued 3,900 invitations to apply for the Express Entry system. The lowest ranked candidate’s CRS was 471. This draw was not program-specific.

This is the 138th express entry draw for 2020. The minimum CRS score was the highest we have seen in 2020 so far.

What is Express Entry?

Express Entry is a Online system used by immigration to Canada to manage permanent residence applications. There are 3 economic immigration programs under this system:

  1. Federal skilled worker program
  2. Federal Skilled Trades Program
  3. Canadian experience class

Canada’s provinces and territories can also use the Provincial Nominee Program to recruit candidates from the Express Entry Pool.
