The Catholic Woman: The Miracles of Charity Christian Fashion

Creation is a dazzling representation of divine meaning and mystery. Man can find God through the truths of nature.

Grace directs the movements of the soul to the nature of God: that is love for one’s neighbor. Charity is man’s friendship for God, which warms our souls and those closest to us. Charity is the ultimate and perfect good. With his blessing, every person and every culture is made holy.

Most men today are not in a state of mercy. Our souls starve and die. The world becomes a place of pagan sensuality and an escape from love for one’s neighbor. Man is separated from his spiritual nature, which makes him unable to perceive the divine spirit. The light of understanding is switched off in the soul.

This is the reason why many people “enjoy” life without being happy. How sad and depressing when everything is just a game. Without peace or tranquility of order, man cannot have vitality or joy in his soul. No virtues can flourish, least of all the blazing charity! We are now alien to holy truths in all realities.

Only the sacraments of the Church and the Order of Vocation can restore the wonders of charity.

“And if I have prophecies and should know all secrets and all knowledge and if I should have all faith so that I can remove mountains and have no charity, I am nothing. And if I should distribute all my goods feed the poor, and if I should burn my body and shouldn’t have any charity, it is of no use to me Anger provokes, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in truth, carries everything, believes everything, hopes everything, endures everything. The love of one’s neighbor never ceases to exist: whether prophecies are to be annulled or the tongues are extinguished cease or the knowledge will be destroyed. Because we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when the perfect comes, it will what is in part to be eliminated. When I was a child I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. But when I became a man, I put a child’s things away. We now see through a glass in a dark way; but then face to face. Now I partially know; but then I will know it as I know it. And now there are faith, hope and charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. (1 Corinthians 13)
