No place for indecent clothing – Oke Ogun Polytechnic Acting Rector warns students : Nigerian Education

The acting rector of Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki, Mr. Kayode Ogunmola, has warned that there will be no room for indiscipline and indecent clothing in the facility.

Ogunmola passed the warning on the weekend when he spoke for his new students at the institution’s ICT center at the 2019/2020 enrollment ceremony.

The institution, he says, “appreciates discipline and integrity, hence indecent clothing such as wearing sleeveless shawls, tops, dresses, mini-skirts, micro-skirts, dyed hair, bushy hairstyles, dreadlocks, long eyelashes, seductive pants, crazy dresses, wearing slippers and other godless acts would not be tolerated as anchored in the institution’s student handbook. “

The Acting Rector claimed that the institution’s student handbook was provided to students by the Student Affairs Office, adding that enrollers had to go about their careers directly and do things that could affect the image or the institution and reputation or that of their parents and families.

Ogunmola advised the enrolling students to refrain from all forms of cult activities and to respect all rules and regulations of the institution.

He added that anyone caught violating the institution’s order would face the student disciplinary committee.

He claimed that if found guilty, depending on the seriousness of the crime, he or she could be suspended or expelled immediately.

The principal also asked the students not to be afraid to take part in sporting activities. Any work without a game could make them boring students.
