Actress, singer and dancer Cossy Ojiakor has said that her lifestyle does not hinder her relationship with God because she has certain Christian values and is not sex addicted, as many think.
Cossy spoke to Saturday Beats and said:
“I think one of the secrets of my appearance is that I am not sex addicted. The exotic dancing is like a ritual. I only have sex every now and then. If you have a lot of people who ask you or who are in a relationship with you want, you get tired.
“I was born again because I believe that Jesus is my personal Lord and Savior. One can only be saved by the grace of God. All people who preach that they are sinners should know that we are all sinned according to the Bible and have missed the glory of God. “
The animator also noticed that some clergymen were doing unthinkable things that people had overlooked. “Don’t think your sin is too much and you won’t make heaven. Nobody is perfect.
Pastors live an extravagant life and even travel abroad to “carry” girls. I delivered ladies to one of these pastors. In fact, I didn’t know that he was a “man of God”. His church is very big and he has a big church. A venerable father once squeezed my breasts and gave me church money.
“People should know that God is always ready to forgive because nobody is holy. I am an evangelist and I am true to myself. If you stay true to yourself, it means that you will be saved by grace. I am an anglican person. I go to church in my hometown. “
Cossy also complained that the Nigerian police are treating domestic violence with children’s gloves. She said, “When a woman reports physical assault and domestic violence, the police don’t treat it as a big case. They think the couple will be reconciled. Most of these women want justice, but they don’t get it.
“Some of the women who stab their husbands do so because the police have let them down. They had reported countless times, but nobody cared.
“Someone once threatened me with a bottle. I reported him to the police, who didn’t do much, and he came back the next day.
“Before women act, they must have been pushed onto the wall. The police should handle these women thugs strictly. The law should take its course. “
Ojiakor also said she was scarce on the acting scene because the pay didn’t match her current level of comfort. She added, “I didn’t get the kind of job I want. My level of comfort has risen so much and the money I am offered is not worth the stress.
“I used to act out of passion, but now I put my comfort first. As you get older, many things begin to dawn on you. Apart from acting, other things are now paying my bill.
“There are people who pay to see me dance and they have fun. I dance, but it is for selected people. I am actually one of the first dancers to dance with bras. I don’t think there were people who did this before me. I also learned how to do striptease and pole dance. “
