NNPC completes 2019 recruitment and publishes final list for trainee graduates – The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has finally completed this Recruiting trainees For the employment exercise 2019/2020 that started almost a year ago, the national oil company has completed a publicly advertised recruitment exercise for the first time since 2012.
FINANCIAL WATCH gathered NNPC hired 1,050 graduates, as stated in a statement by Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs, Samson Makoji, on Friday.
Group Managing Director, Mele Kyari, quoted that the NNPC’s human resources department has since started offering temporary job offers to the 1,050 new employees.
Kyari described the hiring as a very important assignment for the company and explained that the result of the exercise reflected national dissemination and met all legal requirements.
The GMD claimed that hiring at the company would be an ongoing process, even though it found that the exercise hire (EH) component of the exercise would be addressed in due course.
“We look forward to welcoming our new team members and building a company with them that all Nigerians will be proud of,” added Kyari.
Recruitment exercise 2019/2020 started on March 13, 2019 with nationwide advertisements in national newspapers and online media, followed by the selection of qualified candidates that started on March 27, 2019.
