In the language of the Oscans, a language used by the archaic peoples of central Italy, IRPO means wolf, and according to legend, the Irpini chose this incredible animal as a symbol of strength, empathy and cooperation.

Every wolf in its pack plays an important role and works for the benefit of all. The movement of the wolves towards the goal is an ensemble dance in which no one is left behind and each member contributes to the achievement of a common goal.

The wolf still represents the green Irpinia, a place where the extraordinary distillate inspired by the Antonellis Distillery is brought to life to preserve the aromas and scents of nature sweetly and relentlessly.

As with the wolves, the common success lies in the success of a group in achieving a goal, and it is precisely from this cooperation that this project, BasileADV, designed and coordinated by Andrea Basile, was born. The typefaces and designs by Giuseppe Salerno and Paco González, Resistenza, give charm to the labels made on the highest quality paper.

The gold plates, distributed by Luxoro and printed by La Commerciale, let the old and fascinating characters, features and letters shine on the dark background. The 200 ml bottles manufactured by Vetroelite carry the product brand with elegance and boldness thanks to the valuable Arconvert adhesive papers. An impressive illustration by Andrea Longhi, hidden on the back of the label, evokes the power of the animal source of inspiration for this company.

As with a distillate, everyone involved has added their own wealth of knowledge to make this extraordinary project unique. This is shown by the photographs by Diego De Dominicis, d / dedo Studio, the packaging by Grafica Nappa and the illustrative brochure Printed by the Lucarelli printer on paper from the Fedrigoni paper mill, based on texts by Alessio Morando and after presentation and promotion of the curated product

The end result is a combination of creativity and territorial identity. This fantasy meets manual skills and moves in the constant search for excellence in the subtle space that separates tradition and magic.

Irpo is a grappa that comes from the inspiration and desire to interpret and offer the flavors of the territory of Irpinia in Grappa. It embodies the distillation mix of Aglianico da Taurasi, Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo, which was skillfully selected and “set aside” so that the scents and flavors of the three vines can blend into raw materials and then into “non-raw materials”. Distillation.

With a single bain-marie passage, the narrower alcoholic heart of these three vines is distilled so that they can express their maximum strength and refinement in a single hedonic blend. A distillate with a thousand flavors and scents that, with closed eyes, brings the mind and senses back to what they have never interpreted in nature.
