january knitting box – a friend to knit Knitting

Hello February. I see spring around the corner!

To do on February 4th: Pay my last check to the University of Colorado. Wow that’s a great feeling! I’m in the mood for a party!

February 5 to do: I really like this list. I am with my mother in Orlando and when I am sitting with my mother I have some time to do a few things. I had to put my thumb in a pair of mittens, so this is a great time to be able to do that. I do too a large batch of muesli Whenever I’m with my mother. My mother, the caretaker and my sisters all love it. Not to mention me! The mexican wedding cookies I am one of my favorite mothers and can’t wait to try again.

I realized that I forgot to mention the beautiful knitting box that arrived in January. So happy colors in this beautiful blue box. I LOVE this subscription box and if I don’t do what it suggests with the yarn, I can increase my supply of stock yarn. Always a good thing.
In January, knitting box collaborated with Louis Boria from Brooklyn Boy Knits, I like the knitting pattern that Upturned cowl, inspired by the Netflix show “Stranger Things”. (I’m a big fan of this show!) It’s a two-ply reversible hood. Really looks like a fun rope!
knitting patterns: Upside down hood
yarn: Knitology Safari Sunset and Knitology Golden Lion Both 100% SW Merino. (There are also two other color options.)

This was the delightful “extra” in my box. I don’t know exactly what to do with it, but it fits my wine bottle perfectly! 😍

As always, if you are interested in an order knitting box use the code FKW20 You get a 20% discount on your first one knitting box! The code works on all boxes and really makes a good post day!
