Follow us as we freshen up our little girl’s room in this New Year, New Room Refresh Challenge! Check out our progress in week 3!

If you follow me InstagramYou know we have been working on some changes to our girls’ two rooms. Progress was slow for a while as we had to wait for a new carpet, but now things are picking up again. To keep me motivated and on time to finish their rooms at the beginning of the new year, I got together with some other great bloggers and sponsors the New Year, New Room Refresh Challenge from my sweet friend Stephanie Casa Watkins living, Over the course of the 4 weeks, we will refresh one room in each of our houses. So much fun!

I worked on it Attley’s room for this challenge. We really loved her room the way it was. Here’s a reminder of what it’s been like for a while now. And to remind you, here is the mood board for Attley’s new, more adult room 🙂

SWELL:

The changes in her room mainly revolve around the fact that we are swapping her double bed for a double bed. So far we’ve done a lot (even if it feels like we’re still there). We have:

  • We painted the ceiling, walls (Falling Snow by Behr) and moldings
  • We painted the doors in her room
  • We have hung a new lamp
  • We had installed a new carpet
  • We have the fox photo wallpaper
  • We have the new Mohawk Larrabee Area Rug and carpet pad in place
  • We installed your new cabinet system, including this back of the door storage
  • I painted her used Jenny Lind bed (which I found on the Facebook marketplace) and placed it in her room yesterday
  • I hung up her new roman blind and curtains what will her little reading corner be for

And that’s it! At this point, I’m waiting for artwork and furniture (the bench for their reading corner and a new desk chair) to arrive before I can finish everything. But I’m 100% in love with her room! Here’s a look at Attley’s Jenny Lind bed and new curtains for you.

Here’s a look at the cabinet system and storage behind the door we have set up for you.
