Good cuisine in an all-inclusive resort: Le Blanc Cancun Luxury Travel

Le Blanc Cancun fine cuisine

The Le Blanc Cancun Spa Resort is not a typical beach hotel and not a typical all-inclusive hotel. You can stay there and dine in some of the region’s best restaurants.

Among many luxury travelers who can afford the best of the best every time, the term “all-inclusive” is used to turn up the nose or look down. The whole idea, in their eyes, is linked to mass market vacationers who stuff their faces and fall down drunk and whine like a loud American watching a soccer game.

Bella restaurant in the all-inclusive resort and spa Le Blanc Cancun in Mexico. There are a lot of such places in North America’s # 1 beach resort. You could even be the majority. But Le Blanc is on another plane. It appeals to those who want to pay an invoice and be done with it, but still want to eat gourmet food and alcohol-quality cocktails that they would order in a beautiful cocktail lounge. It also appeals to those with a strong sense of style who want to be surrounded by beauty and thoughtful aesthetics.

It all starts with your arrival in your room, after checking in and escorting the concierge on your floor. When you get in, you’ll find a chilled bottle of sparkling wine and an imaginative welcome snack like the chocolates you see above in this post in your beautiful room with a view.

Then when you go out for dinner you will find places like the next photo, the beautiful Italian restaurant with the appropriate name Bella. I ordered a few things that weren’t so photogenic, but here’s my dessert: a deconstructed creme brulee.

On my second evening there I had dinner in their French gourmet restaurant Lumiere. I went through some nice seafood courses to take advantage of being by the sea. Apparently I got better dessert photos, so here is their carrot cake. It was surprisingly light and had a lot of flavors.

Most people assume that an all-inclusive resort in Mexico means unimaginative buffet food, but that’s not the case at Le Blanc Cancun. The two restaurants mentioned above, a restaurant with a terrace and a restaurant with fine Asian cuisine, are all à la carte. You will probably get an unforgettable meal every time.

Then when it is time for the buffet to be checked out at breakfast, you can quickly get what you want, but it is still of very high quality. If you get up late and want to have lunch there instead. No problem. And once again the dessert is worth it …

This time I didn’t make a new video because the major renovation changes have been made in the restaurants and lobby. The curtain areas that you will see briefly in the video below have now disappeared. The room is open and more tropical. The rooms have also been refreshed and there are now more outlets. The only negative change: the unfortunate decision to put Bud Light in the fridge of a luxury hotel.

Take a tour of the resort and you will see that it hits the right marks.

This video gives a taste of what the rooms look like. The sizes start at 40 square meters and increase (at the top in the seven suites on the top floor). The layout and furniture are well designed and these bedrooms are equipped with amenities. The four full bottles of branded liqueur are a start, after which it remains at a high level.

A sunken seating area is furnished with stylish furniture and there is a small standing balcony from which you can enjoy the view. Each room has a sea view. In the marble bathrooms you will find a large selection of Bvlgari care products, fluffy towels, bathrobes, a whirlpool bath as well as a rain shower and a hand shower. The technology includes free WiFi, Apple TV and Netflix with a good selection of charging plugs. Pillow menus and aromatherapy are part of the evening turndown service. Electronic safes are big enough for a laptop and espresso machines are ready for a morning jerk. 24-hour room service is part of the all-inclusive package.

There are few all-inclusive hotels rated 5 diamonds for the Mexican Caribbean by AAA, and Le Blanc Cancun is one of them. In many ways, this surpasses them all. If you want to be in the heart of Cancun at a higher level than can be seen in both directions on the beach, you can have a great vacation here at no extra cost unless you visit the spa.
