AAPOLY organizes student union elections on January 31 : Nigerian Education


The student union election at Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic in Ijebu Igbo in the state of Ogun takes place on the 31st of this month.

This development is due to the fact that the National Association of Nigerian Students, Ogun State Chapter, recently met with the management of the institution.

In a statement signed by NANS state chairman Bamgbose Tomiwa, the campaign will open between January 20 and 27.

The aspirants will be screened on the 28th, the election manifesto on the 30th and the election on the 31st.

In his words: “After consulting with the management of the institution under the direction of Prof. Bilesanmi, the rector of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic and other management teams, the guidelines for carrying out the elections are as follows.”

“Election campaign January 20-27, 2020, selection process for candidates January 28, manifesto January 30, election date January 31.”

In the statement, the student body also warned all students of the institution to abide by the law during the election

“NANS urges all Aapiten to be law-abiding during the election campaign and to remain conflict-free and free of war on election day.”

NANS also announced that the Gateway Polytechnic Sapade election schedule will be available in the shortest possible time.
