The council of single mothers and their children is currently hiring a treasurer for the 2020 term. Applicants must be or have been single mothers and have financial management experience and qualifications, e.g. B. Chartered Accountant or an equivalent person.
Each board member contributes to ensuring responsible corporate governance, monitoring the guidelines and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
The board supports the leadership and general promotion of CSMC to support the mission and needs of the organization.
All CSMC board members undertake to be available for board tasks with a total time of 4 to 6 hours per month. This includes 2 to 2.5 hours per board meeting, which takes place every seven weeks after close of business (Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.).
