Steps for JAMB registration 2020

JAMB PROFILE REGISTRATION

  1. A mobile phone number (SIM) can only be used by one candidate. The mobile number used for the short message is automatically linked to the name of the applicant and is used in all messages in connection with his 2020 application, examination / admission. NOTE THE SIM NUMBER USED. It is of paramount importance for subsequent communication
  2. The candidate sends his / her name [Surname First-Name Middle- Name (if any)] via SMS to 55019. Maximum 38 characters + 2 spaces between the names = 40 characters for 55019, e.g. B. Tinubu Adamu Odumegwu.
First and last name are mandatory
  3. A 10-character profile code is received by the candidate on the same phone (SIM) number
  4. The candidate presents the profile code at the time the form is obtained (banks, MMOs, MFBs, switches, USSD partners). The form-ePIN is then sent to the candidate as an SMS
  5. The candidate presents the ePIN for registration at a CBT center accredited by JAMB

According to the JAMB, no candidate should go to a CBT center without first creating a profile. Candidates are advised to create a profile by sending their last name (last name, first name, and first name) to 55019 via SMS.

WARNING:

“At the beginning of the registration process, no two people are allowed to use a single GSM number because this is unacceptable. The way it is configured is an individual to a telephone number that remains exclusive to that individual for the purpose of the overall investigation process. For this purpose, not even siblings can share a specific phone number. “- JAMB media director Dr. Fabian Benjamin.

SELF-HELP IF ERROR / LOSS OF JAMB PROFILE CODE

  1. To correct an error on behalf of the applicant, send the [CORRECT Surname First-Name Middle-Name] up to 55019 as a text message from the same cell phone number
  2. Send to retrieve a lost profile code [RESEND] up to 55019 as SMS from the same cell phone number
  3. The candidate can reset a lost or forgotten profile password on their registered mobile phone by sending it [password] room [email address] up to 55019 as a text message from the same cell phone number
