When my jewelry is on display, I wear it more for some reason … probably because I can see and select it right there, as opposed to a hanger between my dresses that I forgot. I discovered today that I have created various organizing and storage options for my jewelry in my walk-in closet, so I thought I would share it today. I hope you find these repurposed ideas inspiring and useful for jewelry organizations!
Let’s start with something new. one that I have never posted. I got this cute cork board for Christmas this year as a gift for a white elephant. I stared at it for days because I didn’t really need it in the kitchen. Here’s what I did with it. The earrings hung nicely and I used small nails to hang the bracelet and the rings.
I found this cute metal chest of drawers Hobby lobby. I made small labels and used them for jewelry, hair accessories and makeup.
This is a small antique shopping vintage find that I had to have. I use it for rings that I wear all the time. This is also ideal for cotton swabs in the bathroom.
Thrift store transformations for your jewelry
Matching this small ring holder, I made this reused base from a few second-hand finds by gluing a candle holder and a baking dish with E6000.
I also made this DIY pedestal tray from second-hand finds, a plate and a candle holder.
This was an old closet door, which I converted into a jewelry display with a few knobs and pull-out drawers. I found it at Habitat for Humanity for next to nothing. Just paint and drill holes in it. Use the hardware of your choice.
Jewelry organization for travel
Since my husband and I travel often, I have the prescription bottle ready to put my jewelry on while traveling. Here are some more ideas for prescription bottles. These bottles are nice because they stay closed and are small enough to fit in a make-up bag. the perfect size for rings and earrings.

This old chest of drawers was made available to me free of charge. I used it to organize craft supplies, but due to the narrow, velvet-lined drawers, it’s also a great piece for your closet to organize jewelry.
