Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, Chancellor, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, announced that the board generated N20 billion from university and tertiary matriculation exams between 2016 and 2019.
He released this information during a two-day meeting today with computer-based test center operators, state board coordinators, financial institutions and Internet service providers in Zaria, Kaduna state.
He said the meeting was aimed at discussing issues related to the board and the way forward.
Oloyede urged CBT center operators not to worry about their investments while doing business with the board as long as they do their job according to the agreed registration and audit guidelines.
"You have nothing to fear and you should know that if you put together your investments, it cannot go up to N20 billion and we as an agency have accumulated N20 billion in three years.
“As a government agency, we have to make sure that small and medium-sized businesses thrive, and if you multiply 11 employees by 700, you will know better.
"We are also increasing the added value for the economy and job creation in your job market and will continue to support you once you have done your job well," he said.
