Thirty-four companies from Asia were named this year's top 100 global fintech innovators, according to H2 Ventures and KPMG current fintech100 ranking, Seven of them reached the top ten list and showed the growing dominance of Asia in the global fintech scene.
In the region, China was the largest with 10 companies, followed by India (8), Singapore and Japan (4), Vietnam, South Korea and Indonesia (2), and Thailand and Cambodia (1).
Payments from all industries seem to dominate the list. 27 payment and transaction companies make it a list. This is followed by wealth companies that rank second with 19 companies.
