Women in ICT Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides women and young girls in science, technology, technology and mathematics with innovative and measurable technology education through initiatives and projects that leverage community resources and expertise.

Women in ICT works with government agencies, civil society, non-governmental organizations and other organizations that empower the most disadvantaged neighborhoods and communities in Africa through opportunity grant programs, boot camps, campaigning / awareness raising, development projects, workshops, internships and conferences. We hire to occupy the following position:

Job Title: State Coordinator (Volunteer)
Location: nationwide
Duties and responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate community development projects, workshops, programs and training with partner organizations
  • Identify opportunities for developing and expanding new programs
  • Participate as requested in board meetings, committee meetings or other meetings
  • Supervisors, volunteers and other support staff
  • Assisting in the ongoing marketing of the organization, including, but not limited to, lectures, monitoring, coordination and support in creating content for newsletters and journal publications
  • Support in the development of strategic partnerships
  • Conduct searches, collate data, and prepare reports to be submitted to the Executive Director and Board for review and presentation

minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor, ND / HND /, Diploma & NCE preferred
  • Must have computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to organize and coordinate people
  • You must be resident in the state from which you are applying
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the public environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team

The country coordinator should prove:
