FG declares Monday, the 11th of November, a public holiday : Nigerian Education

On the occasion of the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad in 2019, the Federal Government declared Monday a holiday. This was announced by Mr. Mohammed Manga, director of press and public relations of the Ministry of the Interior, in Abuja on Thursday.

In the statement, Minister of the Interior Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola congratulated the Muslim believers on this occasion and invited them to live within the virtues and teachings of the Prophet.

He said that absorbing the virtues of the Prophet in love, courage and perseverance would guarantee peace and security in the country.

Aregbesola was confident that the challenges facing Nigeria would soon be overcome, prompting Nigerians to remain focused and determined.

He gave assurances that the country is endowed with immense potential; Nigeria will sooner or later join the League of Industrialized Countries with its human and natural resources. He added that the government is anxious to ensure a peaceful and secure environment for all Nigerians.
